Wizkid was born with the name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on October 17, 1992, in Lagos State.  He is the son of Rasaq Balogun (a university lecturer) and Adebisi Omololu (an attorney). Wizkid’s parents had high expectations of him as he was their only child.  He attended St. Andrews International School in Lagos until 2009 when he left to attend Western University College (now Western University.
